DJI’s Lightbridge 2 is an all-in-one solution that integrates video downlink, aircraft control, gimbal control, and video monitoring into a unified system. It consists of two key components: the Air Unit, which connects to select Zenmuse Z15 gimbals and supports integration with A2 or WooKong-M flight controllers; and the Ground Unit, a specially designed transmitter (radio controller) that incorporates the Lightbridge ground unit module (which was separate in previous systems). The Ground Unit features mini-HDMI and 3G-SDI video outputs for connecting to an HD display, as well as a USB port for linking a mobile device like a smartphone or tablet. It offers dedicated camera and gimbal controls for convenient operation, with additional advanced settings accessible via the DJI GO mobile app, making it a powerful tool for professional drone operations.
